Omar Higgins, a native of Brooklyn, NY is essentially a Memphis, TN staple now. He has worked with a variety of bands throughout the genre spectrums. Influenced by bands like Oxblood, Gorilla Biscuits , Anti-Heroes and Neglect, he decided it was time to form a hardcore punk/Oi! band. Not only that, he also wanted to promote unity and awareness about the crimes in the punk scene, everything from domestic abuse to the obvious racism displayed by those claiming to be "patriots". A born leader, he is the brains behind the music of Negro Terror.
Representing Memphis and NYC, guitarist and brother of frontman Omar, David Higgins has history with a variety of genres. From his smooth jazz quartet (E.D.II and the Jazz Pocket) to his guitar work in the up and coming reggae band Chinese Connection Dub Embassy (C.C.D.E. for short), he brings through singing solos and powerful riffs., while matching the intensity needed to play lead and rhythm of Hardcore Punk and Oi!
Born and raised in Memphis, TN. Ra'id was always surrounded by many styles and genres of music even though he's the only musician in his family. With over 10 years and over 15 bands of experience to his credits, Ra'id Khursheed is indeed a drummer of 'many trades'. He found a new musical home becoming a part of Negro Terror. "Unlike any musical act I've been involved in", he says, "Negro Terror has proven to be a wonderful and inspiring challenge."; something Ra'id is always up for.
The middle child and guitarist "Rico" is a native Memphian, raised in Atlanta. He has spent the majority of his musical career bouncing between genres, everything from hip hop, to (obviously) hardcore punk. Inspired by the guitar stylings of Tom Morello, John 5, Linde Lindström, and Jade Puget (and the music of, well, anyone), he brings a special darkness to the hardcore and oi stylings of Negro Terror.
